Recently I came across a situation where the "SMTP Relays" I had initially setup in my hosting account were running out pretty quickly due to a New Promotional Software which I started using to optimize and market websites. 250 Relays are more than enough for everyday E-Mail usage. However when it comes to Online-Marketing... E-Mail accounts with "Unlimited Relays" should be looked into. But fear NOT! We got a cure not to pay extra!

So the scenario was that the E-Mails going out under a specific E-Mail had only 250 Relays for a day, and I was hitting 250 in one and a half hour by sending mass E-Mail Requests to the address found by the software. This was a little frustrating, because I need at least 1500 Relays a day just for submissions. So I decided to look for an inexpensive way to increase the relays without paying extra to my host.

Here is how you get more Relays without paying an arm and a leg to your host:

Create additional E-Mail Accounts with 3MB-4MB space, and each one of those E-Mail accounts should have 250 Relays available. So at this point, all you have to do is to setup those accounts in your Outlook Client. (If you don't know how to do this, please refer to our Microsoft Exchange and Outlook Forums). Then just keep count of the relays sent out, and once you reach your daily 250 Relay limit on any given account, just switch the account in your SMTP Promo software that you use, and you should be golden. I currently have 10 E-Mail accounts which I use personally for Marketing... so it's working out great for me. As you can imagine that puts me in the 2500 Relay Limit per day and additional 250 from my main account.

So here you go... $85 saved a year! and we're accomplishing what we need to online without expensive Exchange Hosting accounts and buying additional SMTP Packs!

P.S. If you have more than 1 Hosting Account, you're in Luck! Because you can add more E-Mails available through the alternate hosting account and so on and so forth.
